I go in and out of more structured phases in my work. Geometric Blues required working in squares applying a similar approach in each but varying the color to heighten the light blue tones and offset the complementary tones. Created on duralar, I was able to keep layering on to give the painting a deep inner luminescence, pushing the blues to their limit. If you love blue as much as I do, Geometric Blues will lighten the mood in any room: creating a quiet centerpiece of calmness yet intensity.
